Laudrup: Blackburn talks
Michael Laudrup is thinking 'very seriously' about taking over at Blackburn, according to the Danish manager's agent.
Sky Sports News reported on Thursday that Laudrup was holding talks with Blackburn as the Premier League club search for a successor to Mark Hughes.
MK Dons boss Paul Ince has been linked with the Rovers hot-seat, but Laudrup has now emerged as a leading candidate to replace Hughes, who moved to Manchester City.
Laudrup quit Spanish club Getafe earlier this summer, but the former Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus striker's agent, Bayram Tutumlu, has now confirmed that discussions have taken place with Rovers chairman John Williams in Switzerland.
"In 20 years of working in football I have not come across a chairman as impressive as John Williams," Tutumlu told the Daily Telegraph.

"He spoke to Michael about the history of the club and of the potential for the future.
"He (Laudrup) was not sure about Blackburn before the meeting, but he is now thinking very seriously about this club."
Meanwhile, Williams, after announcing on Tuesday he hoped to be able to name the new manager by the end of the week, seems to have reassessed Blackburn's position.
"Nobody has been offered the job," he said.
"We are continuing the process and all candidates are aware of the position. We will appoint someone as soon as we are ready."
