Bu orkestrayi seyretme sansim oldu, Monk'in sarkilarini caldilar konserde, harikaydi. Ellis Marsalis'e buyuk bir hayranligim var, hayatini caza ve caz egitimine adamis bir insan. Yetistirdigi bir suru caz muzisyeni var. Ogullari Wynton,Branford,Jason, ve Delfeayo da cok iyi caz muzisyenleri.CD'si "an open letter to Thelonious" da oglu Jason davul calmis. Ve cok iyi davul caliyor. CD'de Monk'in "Epistrophy"sini kendilerine has bir sekilde yorumlamislar. Monk hayatta olsaydi herhalde iftihar ederdi.:

Iki enstrumanimizi cok severim: Ney ve kanun. Onder Focan'in albumu "Swing A La Turc" de Turk muzikleri caz muzigiyle yorumlanmis.Senol Filiz bu albumde ney calmis, eger ney dinlemeyi seviyorsaniz tavsiye ederim. Ben albumu de cok begendim.
